Too many people feel politics can be complicated. For those that are not into politics, you should be. Why? because all those complaints concerning traffic problems, pay rates, unreasonable health plan payments, doctors fees or even stop signs that aren't enforced are just some of the many obstacles politicians must tackle. There are many things that happen in ones life that can be affected by politics. Its a political curtain that many do not take either the interest or time to look behind.
WE THE PEOPLE as it states in the Constitution should be informed, educated, as well as concerned about politics. We should be concerned about who is in office or who is running for office. In addition to what they're bringing to the table or offering to address if elected. The politicians experience is key in your choice of vote.As sure as you not wanting a surgeon operating on you if he or she had no kind of experience you would not want a senator with no experience addressing your concerns on the educational system our children are currently undergoing . Why is it important? Because it causes a change in your house hold, in your community and surroundings. It can affect the stores you shop in, the taxes on your paycheck ,and the utility bills you pay for. Our country can be affected too.
Voting is a right! Voting is your voice to politicians. Hey look! We are Here! HEAR! To better the future of our communities, our country, ourselves, our children, grandchildren and our neighbors' children we must vote. Voting makes us all, sort of like a voting political family. How did we have the first African American president in the white house! Because we VOTED for Barack Obama. Voting takes less than an hour and gives you the pride in being apart of a major decision.
In my own experience as i worked as a canvasser for Democrat Geraldine Thompson. A woman whom after reading her biography and researching about , I was moved. Serving in the house of representatives for 6 years while battleling cancer for numerous months. I consider her a WARRIOR! Thank you Mrs Thompson.
I am not asking to vote for her I am only asking for people to educate themselves and learn how politics can affect your life. Whether you are a home owner a renter or homeless.Whether you are White, Black Hispanic, or Asian. VOTE. Speak out! Every single person counts.
